Hi to all you Wysocki’s out there. When I was younger I thought our name was so rare. Now I realize there’s a whole wide world of Wysocki’s. It’s kind of fun to see where everyone lives. I’m originally from Springfield, MA. But I now live in Wales, MA.

Hi there,

My grandmother was Sophie Wysocki. She married Henry Kapla and they lived in Greenpoint. Sophie had two brothers I know of: Chester and Cashmire. Could they be a relation? I would like to make contact with any member of our lineage of Wysockie’s

Hey Lisa….peeked at your website this morning. I was awestruck by your Washington/Vancouver photos. How beautiful your trip was! Jack, who is nearly 3 years old now, was peeking at whales and eagles over my shoulder and learned new words thanks to you. How wonderful!

Dakota will be 15 in April and oh how the teenage years are so different than expected. My textbook-perfect child had suddenly become textbook-pubescent in my naivete. He is already 6′2″ tall, towering above both mom and dad. His passion is hockey and is playing on the Northland Pines high school team now. We insist school first, hockey second and i’m not sure if he agrees with us but he manages to keep himself on the honor roll consistently. No honor roll, no hockey and he knows that.

Jeb just turned 9 on Christmas Eve and is doing well against his developmental delay issues. He is such an academic kid, doing very well in school with the addition of visits to speech therapy, occupational therapy, adaptive PE, and social skills classes. Unfortunately, we discovered in November that he has not been spared from CMV hearing loss and has been diagnosed with sudden onset hearing loss which is minor so far. We pray it doesn’t get any worse but we will be watching it very closely as we have all his life.

Once again, it was nice seeing you, Tim and Piper again as I checked out your website for the first time in a long time. I feel connected again! :) Thanks for sharing your stories as you do.

I love your website. Nice photos. I am a Wysocki, also. My father Alfred Wysocki was one of six brothers from Newark, NJ. Their parents were Michael and Stella Wysocki. I am just starting my own family website. I’ll let you know when it’s finished. We might have some common relatives. Take care.

Hi Tim – killing some time here while Catherine naps (which precludes power tool usage)and mom works.

I was just looking at and appreciating your home energy study. Nice work. Your right on the mark about home heating (at least here in New England) being the number one consumer of the energy budget.

A word of encouragement to people looking at reducing your home energy budget. We’ve installed new windows, better insulation, and a high efficiency heating system in our “forever on-going renovation” of a 150 yr old 2800 sq foot brick home. Our heating bills are now on with friends who have smaller ‘new construction’ homes.

It can be done. As an added bonus, we’ve taken a bite out of sprawl, preserved a piece of history , and have very little VOC off gassing (Gretchen’s pet peeve) from new construction materials.

Solar is next on our radar as well. Oh and I just joined the Pickens Plan as well.

Ciao for now!

Hi, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Tim, and Piper! This is Haley Young. Mom told me about your site, so I decided to visit it. I also have a few questions…
I own my own website, which was hosted by a person named Juniper. The server is experiencing issues, and I’d like to move to a new host. I might be getting a domain (.com) for my birthday, and I want to know of a really good website host to host me and my domain. I was wondering where your website is hosted/who it is hosted by, and where you got your domain. If you could tell me that, by emailing me at clomps@hotmail.com, I’d love it. I’d also like to know if they are a reliable host or not… I just need a good host. Please email me with who you are hosted by… I’d really appreciate it!

Love you,
Haley
