Snow Queen and Red Spot 1
Snow Queen is 5000 years old! She is White and Sliver. “The egg!” “The egg!”said Dark Forest. “What about the egg.”said Snow Queen. (She had laid a egg.)

Every month there may be one.

Park Passport #1

Filed under: Updates — Lisa at 11:14 am on Thursday, July 24, 2008

For our first official passport outing we chose Harold Parker State Forest. We decided to combine in letterboxing so I did a quick search before we left to find some likely candidates. First stop was the park office for our stamp.

Next we headed off to find the area where the letterboxes were hidden. We decided to go with the Grateful Bear series. This turned out to be a great choice. We ended up walking around a pond through several different types of terrain. Gorgeous spot! I had a lot of fun playing with the camera. This will be a great place to take the canoe which is on it’s way. The LL Bean representative called today and it should be here in 3-4 weeks.

Our goal is to finish the region closest to home by the end of the season. Wish us luck!
