So what's with this 350 anyway?

New Website

Tim has been working hard on the website. Doesn’t it look great? Piper provided the artwork at the top. It’s another example of her work from ActonArt. The photo album area has also been updated. Now we just need to add more pictures! Be sure to use the comments to let us know what you think or if you run into any problems. It’s also nice if you check in every once in a while so I know I’m not blogging to thin air. :-)

New Weblog

We have pretty much changed everything on the web log part of the page by going to a new blogging software (WordPress). I hope you enjoy the new look and the more “blog-like” functions like the ability to posts comments, simpler category browsing, and (eventually) a listing of our favorite sites. Please bear with us while the rest of the site catches up.

Piper and I went on a field trip taking advantage of the last nice day for the forseeable future. Cool place.

Hello oxen!

Doing the laundry. No way!

By the river walk. We also went on a pontoon boat and saw a sawmill, gristmill, and carding mill run by water power.

Horses

Filed under: Updates — Lisa at 3:50 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2006

Piper has been playing this amazingly elaborate and creative horse scenario for about 2 weeks now. In an effort to regain my couch cushions, I bought her some Breyer horses yesterday. Seems to be a hit. We’ve made them blankets and she’s in the process of making them a cradle out of straws, paper, and the small square that I knitted. Please don’t ask me why a cradle. I’m still trying to understand that part. :-) The Black Stallion, horse of all horses in Piper’s world is on it’s way. Breyer may possibly be an even more slippery slope than American girl. They have every horse imaginable, though only The Black and Flame from Walter Farley. (boy is someone missing on a business opportunity there) not to mention halters, saddles, horse vans, etc. Oh, well, the child is happy and has asked to have her allowance reinstated.
