So what's with this 350 anyway?

We’re moving…

Filed under: Updates — Lisa at 10:19 am on Tuesday, July 7, 2009

I’ve been pondering moving the website for a while. Mostly for reasons of anonymity. Back when we started this before Piper was born over 9 years ago, it wasn’t really something you thought about. It’s been on my mind for a few years that we should make a switch, but a few things were holding me back. The main one being that friends and relatives have been able to find us via the site after loosing touch. With the advent of Facebook, this has pretty much become a non-issue. Emails will most likely be changing at some point, but I haven’t completely decided what I’m going to do yet so the wysockizoo addresses will continue to be valid for now. It gives me a headache just thinking about all of the places that will need to be updated. This website will be up for a while yet, but this will be the last post over here, so head on over to the new website at A Solid Place to Land. Don’t forget to change your bookmark!

Lemonade and Cookie Stand

Piper had her 2nd annual lemonade stand for the 4th of July today. The parade goes by on the road adjacent to our house so there are lots of potential customers. This year was much more successful than last thanks to a vast improvement in the weather. She made $30.25 (gross, but we’re not going to quibble). Just enough for a beehive for Heifer International.

Art Class

Piper spent the last four days in an art class from 9-12 at the studio where she normally takes lessons. The longer time frame allows the kids to work on projects that just couldn’t be completed in an hour long class.

Tim is making good progress on the chicken coop, but as suspected it’s taking a ton of time. There have been a few design issues along the way, but it’s probably best we not talk about those.
